this is one of my most recent flyerdesigns - it pictures a tibetian goddess called avalokitshvara, it has 100 arms and eyes. as you might figure, i did not do 100 but a lot nonetheless.
the flyer is for a party in portugal by crystal matrix, called 'dawn of dreams'. artwork was quite a challenge. figure is from poser, exported all positions into maya, texturing, rendering done there. background, details, touchup in photoshop. falling leaves are done with custom photoshop brush.
It's been a long time since I've stopped by your gallery, and I'm impressed by your evolution over time, even more so given the service that's taken up your time lately. This is a great culmination of the various styles I've seen from you, beautifully colored and well-composed, technological and ordered but spiritually, for lack of a better word, empowered.

Right, I think time might be the denominator for those who are truly passionate about art and design, as we will never abandon it and create til the death despite our dry spells, but maintaining communal spirit in places from old skinz/deskmod to DA and onward.. that takes another kind of energy. I've lost it from time to time, but try to check in on my early inspirations whenever I'm around. Good to see you're still doing the world the honor of at least putting stuff up. Take care.

I love the colors, but whats this really magical are the sharp details in the leaves of the plum trees. The rest of it is great too, but I really love those damn trees.
