my interpretation on dia de los muertos, tried to avoid the obvious cliches and to give it an original spin. done with pen tool / paintbrush in adobe illustrator.

The symbolism of death that reflects under the raven's gaze is and always will be a powerful sight to display and understand. As it sits upon its perch forever watching life rise and fall as time progresses, it never ceases to show any emotion towards the dark and destructive acts being performed under its dark, watchful gaze.

I love the style you have in this piece, the splattered paint brush style used here perfectly simulates spilled blood while at the same times serves as a gateway into the artist's mind and the personality of their craft upon the design.

Great work, I'm sure it'll look awesome on a shirt
